LASD Reads Together: A Community Reading Challenge

Throughout the month of February, our librarian team invites all students at every Los Altos School District school to participate in this shared reading challenge by recording their reading minutes. To ensure all reading counts, teachers and librarians can also record classroom and library reading time.
LASD Reads Together is an opportunity to emphasize the importance of reading, celebrate the remarkable efforts of our students, and build excitement around all the ways reading enriches our lives – academically, socially, and personally.
Thanks to your LAEF donations, all our schools have on site Librarians who help foster a love of reading in our students. We look forward to celebrating the accomplishments of each school, and the collective impact across our LASD community on Monday, March 2. Make sure you get all your minutes submitted by February 28th!
At the Los Altos School District, we are one big story and when we read together, we write the next chapter of community and learning.
