About Us
Los Altos School District (LASD) is a high-performing public school district located in the heart of Silicon Valley. We proudly serve approximately 3,500 students across seven elementary schools (grades TK–6) and two junior high schools (grades 7–8). Our schools are situated in the vibrant and supportive communities of Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Mountain View, and Palo Alto, reflecting a strong tradition of educational excellence and community partnership.

STEM & Innovation: All schools offer hands-on opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math through our integrated curriculum and our STEM Labs. Our Computer Science porgram, which serves all TK-8 students, recently won the Hoffman Award, a special recognition from the Santa Clara County School Boards Association.
